RENTAL EQUIPMENT At Oregon River Sports, we pride ourselves on supplying you with the most complete, highest quality selection of watersports equipment around. We've got over 100 boats available for you to paddle in our rental fleet. All of our rafts and inflatable kayaks are made of rugged Hypalon or PVC fabric—they are reliable, safe and strong. They are also self bailing. We offer both whitewater and touring kayaks constructed of either plastic or fiberglass, and our canoes are constructed of either polyethylene, Royalex, Kevlar, or fiberglass. We try to rent the boat that will fit you and perform well for your style of paddling. In addition, we replace every boat in our rental fleet after two seasons. This means that the boat you rent will never be more than two years old. This ensures not only that the equipment you rent is current, but that it is in safe working condition. We guarantee that if your rental does not go out as requested, your next rental of equal value is on us! Enjoy and travel safe.

Alton Baker Hourly Boat Rentals Come visit our hourly rental kiosk at Alton Baker Park right in the heart of Eugene, and paddle on two full miles of the canoe canal. Just look to the left as you drive over the bridge at the main entrance to the park, and you'll see our rental kiosk. OPENING ON MAY 9, 2010 May 9 through June 17 ~ OPEN: Sat. & Sun. 11am-7pm. And then on June 18 through September 6 we will be open four days a week and our hours of operation will be Friday-Monday 11am-7pm. CLOSED on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays CLOSED for the SEASON on: September 7, 2010 until next May 2011! We will be CLOSED on Rainy Days. Renting a single kayak costs $10 an hour, a canoe costs $12 an hour, a double kayak is $12 an hour, or a paddle boat for $17 an hour. We can only accept CASH payments at the park, and we require a credit card or driver's license for collateral. Come down and paddle in the park! Groups of 8 people or more can reserve boats ahead of time by calling ORS at (541)334-0696 or (888)790-PADL [7235] To reserve boats in advance for large groups you must reserve two weeks in advance. All paddle packages include: the raft, raft paddles, the PFDs, an air pump, a 40-qt. soft ice chest, a dry bag, a repair kit, a throw bag, a bow bag with a carabiner, a tarp, and straps. All oar packages include: the raft, a frame, three oars, four PFDs, an ice chest, a dry bag, an air pump, a repair kit, a throw bag, a bow bag with a carabiner, a tarp, and straps. Expedition raft packages also include: a stern cargo deck, a dry box, a total of two dry bags, and straps. Expedition cataraft packages include a total of four oars, a total of four dry bags, large drybox and cooler, pump and straps.

Discounts: Multiple day rental pricing is as follows: 5% off three-day rentals, 10% off four-day rentals,15% off five-day rentals, 20% off six-day rentals, 25% off seven-or-more-day rentals. Deposits & Refunds: A credit card number is required to hold all reservations. Full refunds will be given with a written cancellation notice received three weeks prior to date of rental. A 50% refund will be given if a date change or cancellation notice is received up to 48 hours prior to the date of rental. No refunds will be given if a date change or cancellation notice is received within 48 hours of the rental date. Commercial Rentals: Commercial guides and outfitters receive a 10% discount on equipment rented for commercial use. A 25% deposit is required. Refunds on deposits will be given with a written two-week cancellation notice only.
